Coaching, a specialized mentor strategizing and encouraging
their protégé or team, was once an activity meant
only for athletes, sport teams, and physical endeavors. Now
coaching principles have been applied to all areas of personal
and work life with great success. Its popularity has exploded
throughout the country due to its effectiveness.
Professional coaching is an ongoing, special relationship between
a coach and client or coach and group of clients focused on
specific objectives. In general, coaches assist three broad
coaching component areas:
Vision Image of your most cherished dreams
Plan Guidance on a strategy to realize your vision
Support Encouragement during your voyage

and talent to share with those who work with them. ITCs
coaches share the same zeal: to assist in finding possibilities
to allow you to best live your dreams in both your personal
and work life.

Coaches and clients work either individually or as part of a
group. Individual coaching involves the assessment of strengths
and needs, formulating an action plan to actualize needs, and
provide ongoing support.
Group coaching includes the use of collaboration, networking,
and community building. Coaching may take place in person or
via telephone on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis.
Coaching is a very personal and professional experience that
involves the same attention to confidentiality as any professional
or therapeutic relationship. Confidentiality agreements are
agreed-to upon prior to the start of the process.
No. Coaching is not therapy although there are some similarities.
Like therapy, coaching is goal-oriented and confidential. They
both assist and support you as you work toward reaching your
desired end. Both modes focus on helping you remove obstacles
that prevent you from moving forward.
Unlike therapy, coaching helps you strategize an action plan
to move forward. It is not concerned with past history (as therapy
may be) but focused on the present.
Anyone and everyone can benefit from ITCs coaching provided
you meet at least one of the following requirements:
Desire and inspiration to make this time of your life
Want a supportive partner to reach or exceed your goals
Ready to move toward the edge and take a risk
Committed to make a shift from acceptance
of how things are to fulfilling new heights
Your enthusiasm towards your goals exceeds your apprehension
